Mozelle Bailey Hawley October 2, 1932 – December 19, 2019 Mozelle Bailey Hawley, 87 of Wilson passed away Thursday. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Godwin, Hawley, Lentz Family Cemetery, 200 Zelma Road, Kenly. The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Mozelle was the owner and operator of Mozelle’s dress shop from 1967 – 2009 and the owner of Mozelle Bridal Shop for ten years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Mozelle was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Mozelle is survived by her husband, Willie Rufus Hawley of the home; daughter, Vicki H. Lentz and husband, David of Kenly; grandson, David Corbett Lentz, Jr. and wife, Lisa and her great-granddaughter, Bailey Nicole Lentz of Kenly. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Bessie Bissette Bailey and her brother, C.T. Bailey.
