Nancy Ann Barnes

Nancy Ann Barnes June 17, 1949 – March 29, 2019 Nancy Ann Barnes, 69, of Bailey passed away Friday at Wilson Medical Center after a brief battle with illness.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Debbie Whitley and husband, Chris of Bailey; granddaughter, Rebecca Whitley; her mother, Frances Murdock of Troutman and her brother, John Carl Murdock, III and wife, Louise of Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Barnes and father, John Carl Murdock, Jr. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the nurses and staff at Wilson Medical Center for their compassion and care for their loved one as they made her comfortable.
