Nancy Clark Flowers March 17, 1925 – July 26, 2016 Nancy Clark Flowers, 91, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Nancy was born in Wilson on March 17, 1925 to the late William Thomas Clark, Jr. and Nannie Sue Crute. Nancy is survived by her children, Suzanne Flowers Hayes and William Blount Flowers, Jr. and wife, Kim; her grandchildren, Nancy Hayes Butterfield and husband, Alan, Susan Hayes, William Blount Flowers III, and Clark Flowers and wife, Brittany; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Susan, and Sally Butterfield, and step-grandchildren, Justin Murray and wife, Katie, Christian Murray and wife, Taylor, and Peyton Hawks, and her brother, William Thomas Clark III She was preceded in death by her husband, William Blount Flowers, Sr.; her sister, Mary Elizabeth Clark Davis, and her son-in-law, Bertram Stover Hayes, Jr. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to Mulligans Fore Kids, PO Box 3413, Wilson, North Carolina 27895, West Nash Methodist Church, PO Box 8298, Wilson, North Carolina 27893 or Larry Pittman Junior Golf Memorial, 2305 Runnymeade NW, Wilson, North Carolina 27896.
