Neva Murray Pridgen
April 15, 1925 – December 26, 2017
Neva Murray Pridgen, 92, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Kevin Moore and Rev. Dr. Robert Langley will officiate.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Neva is survived by her sons, David Wayne Pridgen and wife, Joy of Spring Hope, Carl Ray Pridgen and wife, Melinda of Middlesex, and William Pridgen, Jr. and wife, Gail of Bailey; her daughters, Evelyn Moore and husband, Charlie of Oxford, Debbie Boswell and husband, William of Wilson, Betty Aycock and husband, Gerald of Wilson, Dorothy Sessoms of Clyde, and Elaine Webb and husband, Rev. Sidney of Wilson; fifteen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ernest Pridgen; her daughter, Sue Poland, and three brothers.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed in Neva’s honor to the American Cancer Society, 930 Wellness Drive, Greenville, North Carolina 27834.
