Nona Lucas Dail Love December 27, 1920 – May 7, 2017 Nona Lucas Dail Love, 96, of Wilson, formerly of Lucama passed away Sunday. Her funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Dr. DeWayne Eakes and Rev. Kelley Smart will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of James and Janet Ferrell. Nona was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and a friend to all who knew her. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Nona is survived by her daughters, Barbara Dail Willoughby of Selma, and Janet Dail Ferrell and husband, James of Lucama; her sons, Kenneth Dail and wife, Judy of Wilson, and Roderick Dail and wife, Jullie of Lucama; step-daughters, Faye Love Mumford of Lucama, and Ann Love Moore, and husband, Jerry of Lucama, and step-son, Charles Love and wife, Ann of Wallace; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert A. Dail, and her second husband, Wiley Love; son-in-law, Donald Willoughby: great-grandson, Jonathan Ferrell; and five sisters and brothers.
