Nora Lamm Williamson
July 6, 1940 – March 29, 2016
Surrounded by her family, Nora Lamm Williamson, 75, of Wilson, went peacefully to her Heavenly home on March 29, 2016. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Nash Street NW, Wilson. The Rev. Elwood Long will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2, from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. prior to the graveside at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
A cosmetologist for many years in the Wilson area, Nora was a lifetime resident of Lamm’s Crossroads Community, and was active at Milbournie FWB Church, and later at Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved music and for many years sang with her church choir as well as the ladies trio.
Nora is survived by her daughter, Tammy Williamson Hardin and husband, Jim, of Greenville; her son, Kenneth Todd Williamson and wife, Lori, of Clayton; her brother, William Mack Lamm and wife, Jean, of Wilson; her sister Wanda Lamm Sherrod and husband, Donnie, of Sims; her sister-in-law, Debra Lamm, of Wilson; her grandson, Nathan Hardin and wife, Kimberly, of Pembroke Pines, Florida; her granddaughter, Megan Williamson, and grandson, Matthew Williamson, both of Clayton, and her great-granddaughter, Emerson Hardin, of Pembroke Pines, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Mack Lamm and Bertha Eppes Lamm; her brothers, Norman Lamm and Donald Lamm, and her grandson, Joshua Hines.
