Mrs. Normandia Molina de Leon, 81, of Wilson, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Normandia was a wonderful cook, a great player at any game, and a wise counselor. She will be remembered most as a loving and caring mother, sister and friend, and a very brave person who always did things in her time and her way.
“She was our Queen, and in our hearts always.”
Her family will have a private Celebration of her Life, before interring her with her family in her hometown.
She is survived by her son, Hector Guadalupe Sierra and his wife Rosario Gonzalez, and their children: Hector Alejandro, Diego Roberto, Magali Azalea and Amanda Carolina; her daughter and caregiver, Olivia Aurora and her husband, Jose Juan Rodriguez; her youngest daughter, Adela Sierra and her husband Armondo Cortez, and their children: Victor Manuel Cortez, Nelly Adela Cortez and Armondo Cortez, Jr.; her sister, Noemi Molina de Ayala and her husband Juan Jose Ayala, and their son Juan Carlos Ayala; and her niece, Dalia Velazquez Molina.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Guadalupe Sierra Tomes; her sister, Dalia Molina de Velazquez; and her parents, Dionisio Molina and Olivia de Leon.
