Okey Thorne February 2, 1950 –September 28, 2020 Okey Thorne, 70 of Bailey passed away Monday. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Okey is survived by his daughters, Shannon Phelps, April Thorne and Marcy Brewer; granddaughter, Alivia Jones; grandsons, Cody Bass and Ryan Bass; great-granddaughter, Xyliana Grace Jones and his sister, Carmen Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Thorne; parents, Dewey and Dorothy Adams Thorne; sister, Janice Brock and his brothers, Dwight Thorne and Merle Thorne.
