Opal Kathleen Scott October 11, 1957 – January 25, 2021 Opal Kathleen Scott, 63 of Wilson passed away Monday. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 – 7 p.m. and her funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. at Wilson Community Church, 2301 Montgomery Drive, Wilson. The Rev. Stephen Combs will officiate. Opal loved her church, she was a faithful servant, and she loved to read and making jewelry with beads. Opal is survived by her nieces and nephews, Shawna Marie King and husband, Richard of Kenly, Apollo Holt and wife, Svetlana, and Barbara Holt of Wilson; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Parrish of Wilson; many great nieces and nephews and her special companion fur baby cat, Shado.
