Pamela Johnson Bass
March 8, 1952 – October 20, 2018
Pamela Johnson Bass, 66, of Wilson passed away Saturday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Little Rock Free Will Baptist Church, 6115 Little Rock Church Road, Lucama. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Kelley Smart and Rev. Dr. De Wayne Eakes will officiate.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Pam was a graduate of Lucama High School and a die-hard Carolina “Tar Heel” fan. Pam was employed with Wilson Medical Center for forty-seven years and enjoyed her career there.
Pam is survived by her mother, Selma C. Johnson of Wilson; daughter, Angie Lucas and husband, Scott of Wilson; son, Thomas Bass of Wilson; granddaughter, Madyson Lucas of Wilson; grandson, Tristan Bass of Wilson; sister, Ernestine Wiggs and husband, Phil of Lucama; several nieces and nephews and her special fur babies, Maggie and Oscar.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Ray Johnson.
