Pamuel Jones Ransom

Pamuel “Pam” Jones Ransom, 68 of Engelhard, formerly of Sims passed away Friday. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson with the family receiving friends and family immediately following.  Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in Bethany Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 8980 Old Beulah Road, Kenly.  Pastor Jerald Craddock and Rev. Stan Jones will officiate.

“Pam” is survived by her loving husband, George T. Ransom of the home; son, Douglas Moore II of Selma; step-sons, George Edward Ransom and wife, Tracee, and John Patrick Ransom and wife, Angie; step-grandsons, Corey James Ransom and John Bryant Ransom, Colton Allen Ransom; step-granddaughter, Ava Allen Ransom; step-great-grandson, Oskar Ransom; her nieces, Pattie Darlene Jones Langley, and Melissa Pearce Carton, and nephew, Billy Christopher Jones.

She was proceeded in death by her, daughter, Trinity Leigh Moore; parents, Namon and Lillie Mae Davis Jones; former husband, Johnnie Millard Hinton; sister, Margaret Ann Jones, and her brothers, Bobby Wayne Jones, Billy Harold Jones, and Bobby Wayne Jones.
