Patricia Jane Groves August 25, 1948 – November 13, 2018 Patricia Jane Groves, 70, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Father Phillip Byrum will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10 – 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Patricia is survived by her husband, George Darl Groves, Sr. of the home; her sons, George Darl Groves, Jr. of Wilson, Bret M. Groves of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Robert Carson Groves of Wilson and David Michael Groves of Raleigh; grandchildren, Liliana, Emily, Brady, Delaney, Jeremy and Logan; great-grandchildren, Adrian and Christian; her sister, Kathy Barnes of Sparta; brother, Gary Bauer of Wilson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Helen Goheen Bauer.
