Patsy White Cotten
April 30, 1939 – April 21, 2018
Patsy White Cotten, 78, of Wilson passed away April 21, 2018 in Greenville at the Palliative Care Unit at Vidant. Patsy Cotten was born April 30, 1939 in Chesterfield, Maryland to Sallie Walston and Ed White. She graduated from Charles L. Coon High School and attended ACC College in Wilson.
Patsy was a generous soul. She loved her grandchildren and was a devote Carolina fan. She also had a quick wit and was extremely entertaining. Bird watching was her favorite thing to do.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, Jimmy White, and husbands, Jack Tillery, Michael Albright and Dr. Lyman Cotten.
Patsy is survived by her beloved dog, Ginger, and her children, Patricia Tillery, John Tillery and Lyman Albright; foster son, Ronnie Benson; grandchildren, Toler, Anderson, and Kathrine Albright, Anna, and Henry Tillery, Patrick, Julian, and Tristian Tillery, and her siblings, Becky Wells (Graham), Steve White (Sharon) and Bobby White (Jennifer).
Special care was given by her daughter-in-law, Natalie Albright. The family would like to express their appreciation to the care givers at the nursing homes and hospitals. A private burial will be at a later date.
