Pauline Thomas Proctor, 97, Wilson passed away Friday.  A funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Maplewood Cemetery.  The Rev. Bobby White and Rev. Dwight Batts will officiate. The family will receive friends 5 – 7 p.m. prior to service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at 6752 Town Creek Road, Wilson. Pauline was a loving person and friend to all that knew her, she will be greatly missed.  She was lifetime member of Wilbanks Christian Church and a longtime volunteer with Wilson Medical Center. Pauline is survived by her sister, Rebecca T. York of Goldsboro; her brother-in-law, John William Barnes and wife, Victoria of Elm City and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winslow Proctor. The family would like to thank the staff and family of Parkwood Village and WilMed Hospice for their kindness and love they gave to Pauline.
