Phyllis Ann Pijanowski
June 20, 1937 – August 21, 2016
Phyllis Ann Pijanowski, 79, of Goldsboro, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 surrounded by her family at the Brian Center in Goldsboro. Her memorial service will be held at 3:30 Thursday afternoon at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The family will receive friend immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Tim McFatter will officiate.
Phyllis was born on June 20, 1937 to Frances and Stanley Ladrick in Chicago, Illinois. Phyllis was formerly from Lockport, Illinois; she arrived in Goldsboro in 1997 and was an active member of the New Neighbors’ Club and enjoyed reading, crafts, and crossword puzzles.
Phyllis is survived by her three children, Wayne Pijanowski and wife, Cathy of Goldsboro, and Mary Anne Ginocchio and husband, Michael both of Pikeville, and Stephen Pijanowski of Shanghai, China; her grandchildren, Tina White of Presque Isle, Maine, Michelle Pijanowski of Lemont, Illinois, Stephanie Mandeville, Christina Glenn, Nathan Jones all of Goldsboro, and Evan Jones, and Alissa Ginocchio both of Pikeville; five great-grandchildren, Lyndsay and Corey White, Regan Mandeville, Jayden Glenn, and Myles Smith; her brother, Michael Ladrick and wife, Marge of Cincinnati, Ohio, and sister-in-law, Barbara Ladrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Stanley Ladrick, and her brother Raymond Ladrick.
