Rachel Mae Walston Morgan April 30, 1932 – March 30, 2016 Rachel Mae Walston Morgan, 83, of Zebulon passed away Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Queen Anne Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Rachel was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and a faithful member of the Webb Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Evonne Mizzelle and husband, Mickey of Zebulon, Elaine Walston and husband, Ricky of Washington and Althea Whitley and husband, Johnny of Wilson; her son, Don Morgan and wife, Becky of Farmville; her sister, Helen Gardner and husband, Jimmy of Saratoga; and eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard B. Morgan; her sisters, Hazel Williams, Emma Jean Webb and Mildred Walston; her brothers, Irvin Walston and Pait Thomas Walston Jr.; and her grandsons, George Wayne Smith Jr. and Jeremy C. Smith.
