Randy Joel Aycock

Randy Joel Aycock September 12, 1952 – June 11, 2019 Randy Joel Aycock, 66 of Lucama passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Born on September 12, 1952 in Wilson County, he was the son of Grace Aycock and the late Albert Wayne Aycock.  In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Keith Aycock and a nephew, Shannon Keith Aycock. Randy is survived by his mother, Grace Aycock of Lucama; wife, Judy Walston Aycock of the home; daughters, Jada Aycock of Wilson and fiancé, Hunter Bass and Kailey Aycock of the home; sons, Taylor Aycock and wife, April of Wilson and Jarrett Aycock of the home and his brothers, Kermit Wayne Aycock and wife, Eva of Lucama and Phillip Neil Aycock and wife, Vickie of Lucama. Randy loved his family and took pride in carrying on his family legacy in Lucama where he farmed various crops; tobacco, soybeans, corn and sold beef cattle. Randy was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by many. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 in the Aycock Family Cemetery, Hwy 222, Fremont with Rev. Keith Cobb officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, June 13, 2019 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.
