Ray Kearney April 8, 1971 – November 10, 2019 Ray Kearney, 48 of Wilson passed away Sunday. His funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Kearney Cemetery, Snow Hill. Pastor John Scott will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Ray is survived by his siblings, Ernestine Hardee of Goldsboro, Joe Jett and wife, Della of Lucama, Patty Mercer of Wilson and Keith Jett and wife, Jennifer of Lucama; nieces and nephews, Macon Cockrell of Elm City, Anthony Mercer of Wilson and Nikki Jett Baker of Nashville and his fur babies, Chuey, Lexie and Tux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. R.W. and Kathleen Beamon Kearney and his siblings, Wayne Jett, Donnie Ray Kearney, and Jayne Elizabeth Kearney.
