Rebecca "Becky" Lamm High

Rebecca Lamm High March 15, 1938 – December 13, 2019 Rebecca “Becky” Lamm High, 81 of Bailey passed away Friday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Mt. Pleasant. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Carlos Castano will officiate and assisted by Ashley Folsom. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Becky is survived by her daughter, Amy H. Bryant and husband, Joel of Bailey; sons, Dean High and wife, Debbie of Bailey and Lee High of Bailey; granddaughters, Kimberly Hyde and husband, Judd of Spring Hope and Brittany Bryant of Bailey; grandsons, Michael High and wife, Jennifer of Bailey and Chandler Bryant of Bailey and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Marshall High; parents, Robie Lee and Addie Mae Lamm and her brother, Fred Lamm. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to her caregivers, Pearline Allen, Brenda Joyce Kale, Josephine Howard, Shaniqua Jones, Peggy Avent, Jeannette Wilkins and Nash UNC Hospice for their support, comfort and care that was given to Becky.
