Rebekah "Becky" Jane Whisnant

Rebekah "Becky" Jane Robinson Whisnant, 71 of Wilson, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024.

Mrs. Whisnant graduated from Atlantic Christian College, 1975, where she obtained her Bachelors degree in education. She taught kindergarten and third grade for a total of thirty-two years. She was also a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 4th, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy, Wilson, NC, from 6-7:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to any wildlife or endangered animal fund of your choice.

Mrs. Whisnant is survived by her husband, Clay Whisnant; son, Adam Errington Whisnant and his wife, Melissa, of Montevallo, AL; grandson, Roland Graham Whisnant; sister, Martha Alice Robinson Thomas, and her husband, Jeff, of Charlotte, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Milton and Mattie Taylor Johnson Robinson; and brother, John Russell Robinson.
