Richard Alan Currie September 11, 1944 – February 9, 2018 Richard Alan Currie, 73 of Elm City passed away Friday. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Richard is survived by his loving wife, of twenty-two years, Frances Ballard Humphrey of the home; his step-son, Richard A. Humphrey and wife, Alisha of Marietta, Georgia; sisters, Lydia Woltering of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Elizabeth Clark and husband, Foster of Birmingham, Alabama, and his brother, John Currie and wife, Lana of Cumming, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Lydia Zeller Currie; sister, Marianne Payne, and brother, Raymond Currie.
