Richard Leslie Jones July 3, 1958 – November 18, 2015 Richard “Rick” Leslie Jones, 57, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday in Wilson, peacefully surrounded by his sons, spouse and his step-mother. His memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Winstead United Methodist Church, 1407 Tarboro Street, Wilson. The Rev. Paul Dunham will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday following the service at 3306 Teal Drive, Wilson, and other times at the home of his step-mother, Tassie C. Jones. Rick is survived by his wife, Elaine M. Jones; sons, Andrew Jones and wife, Kate of Elizabeth, Indiana, Daniel Jones, Christopher Jones, and Benjamin Jones all of Louisville, Kentucky; his sisters, Rebecca ”Becky” Adams and husband, Clay of Raleigh, Jacki Himmel and husband, Bob of Richmond, Virginia; brother, Randy Jones and wife, Louise of Durham, and his step-mother, Tassie C. Jones of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father, John Ellsworth Jones, and his granddaughter, Briar Everleigh Jones.
