Robbie Yates Summerlin January 21, 1957 – November 19, 2019 Robbie Yates Summerlin, 62 of Elm City passed away Tuesday. His funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Elm City. The Rev. Chris Harris and Rev. Woody Parrish will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Robbie is survived by his loving wife, Arlinda “Arty” Costin Summerlin of the home; daughter, Holly Danielle Summerlin; son, Jake Summerlin and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Avalyn Hooks, Savannah Summerlin and Oliver Summerlin; his mother, Alma “Boogie” Davis Summerlin; sisters, Debbie Baker and husband, Silas, Wanda Parrish and husband, Woody, Terry Bunting and husband, Lee; mother-in-law, Jean Costin; sister-in-law, Audrey Lamm Perry and husband, Harris; nieces and nephews, Angel Holland and husband, Jerry, Cameron Foster and husband, Kenny, Kristy Kidd and husband, Bucky, Kevin Baker and wife, Bridgette, Ashley Bass and husband, Roger, Matthew Parrish, Steven Baker and wife, Jessica, and Casey Bunting; great-nieces and nephews, Britt, Tanner, and Sydney Holland, Morgan and Chelsea Kidd, Summer Lamm, Noah, Charlie and Brayden Bass, Bella Baker, Olivia and Greyson Baker, and several loving cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Yates Summerlin.
