Robert "Bob" Chester Dickson

Robert Chester Dickson May 10, 1947 – August 27, 2016 Robert “Bob” Chester Dickson, 69, of Wilson passed away Saturday. His funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 -10:45 a.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Bob is survived by his daughters, Beverly Etheridge of Raleigh, and Tracy Collins and husband, Adam of Clayton; his sons, Robert C. Worley and wife, Jessica of Princeton, and Michael C. Worley and wife, Becky of Rock Ridge; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; his sister, Rachel Harris and husband, Alvin of Five Points, Alabama; his brother, Wayne Patterson of Roanoke, Alabama, and his step-father, Billy W. Patterson of LaFayette, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Price Dickson; parents, William Young Dickson and Rachel Rogerson Dickson Patterson; his sisters, Linda Nickerson and Matilda Hodges, and son-in-law, Larry Etheridge.
