Robert Arthur Moore August 17, 1927 – March 7, 2015 Robert Arthur “Big Boy” Moore, 87, of Lucama passed away Saturday evening. His funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Barnes Cemetery, Wiggins Mill Road, Lucama. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. Monday prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. “Big Boy” is survived by his son, Christopher Lee of Mississippi; his grandchildren, Brooke and Jordan Lee of Mississippi; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law, Joe Tew of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mittie Matthews Moore; sisters, Ruth Moore Bailey, Irene Moore Morgan, Gertie Moore McCool and Doris Moore Tew and his brothers, James Grady Moore, Dewey Moore and Carl Moore.
