Robert Kemp Raper

Robert Kemp Raper May 9, 1957 – January 6, 2021 Robert Kemp Raper, 63 of Wilson passed away Wednesday. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Black Creek Cemetery, Black Creek. The Pastor Lewis Forsythe will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home of his son, Joey Raper. Kemp was the owner and operator of Robert Raper Welding Inc for over fifteen years. He was a loving husband, father, papa, brother, and friend to all who knew him. Kemp was loved and will be greatly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories. Kemp is survived by his loving wife of forty-three years, Heidi Rose Raper of the home; son, Robert Joseph “Joey” Raper and wife, Danah of Lucama; grandchildren, Cameron Raper and Emmah Raper; sister, Dominie Raper of Wilson and his fury companions, Dozer and Bella.
