Roger Edwin Jones September 5, 1972 – April 13, 2015 Roger Edwin Jones, 42, died peacefully Monday, April 13, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. His funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Thursday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Samaria Baptist Church Cemetery, 3752 Samaria Church Lane, Middlesex. The Rev. Reuben Cason and Rev. Paul Tedder will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. Roger is survived by his wife, Emily Price Jones of the home, his sons, Blake Edwin Jones and Tucker Paul Jones both of the home; his parents, Donald and Pam Jones of Bailey; his sister, Donna Glover and husband, Tony of Elm City; his grandmother, Margaret Brantley of Bailey; his aunts, Gail Bailey and husband, Milt of Bailey and Debra Denton and husband, Dennis of Bailey; his in-laws, Danny and Sandra Price, Jamey and Michelle Price and Michael Horton all of Zebulon; his nieces and nephews, Dustin, Austin, Bradley, Katie and Kasey and his special dogs, Ranger and Suger. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, B.C. and Elsie Jones; his grandfather, Sam J. Brantley and uncle, Doug Brantley.
