Roger Wayne Morris

Roger Wayne Morris, 57 of Middlesex passed away Friday, April 5, 2024.   Celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Grace Community Fellowship, 6525 Schooners Road, Bailey.  Pastor Pam Denton will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 12 – 1:45 p.m. at Grace Community Fellowship, Bailey.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of thirty-nine wonderful years, Sandra Whitley Morris of the home; son, Jeremy Morris of the home; mother, Hazel Eastwood Morris of Wilson; sister, Wendy M. Pate and husband, Jack of Wilson; brother, Randy E. Morris and wife, Shelia of Wilson; in-laws, Jerry and Agnes Whitley of Middlesex; sisters-in-law, Amy Lee and husband, James and Sandy B. Whitley both of Middlesex; nieces, Emmie Lou Morris, Amber Morris, Stephanie Pate and fiancé, Jeremy Vick, and Alexis Pate and Kenny Willoughby; nephews, Dillon Pate and wife, Mayra, and Jimmy Lee; great-nieces, Sophia Dare Pate, and Abigail Leigh Pate; great-nephew, William Earl Godwin, and his loving sweet baby Rico, his loyal companion.

He was preceded in death his father, Richard E. Morris and his brother-in-law, Clinton L. Whitley.  

The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Hospice of Wilson for the compassionate care, love and support they gave Roger and his family.
