Ronald Lee Batchelor November 29, 1952 – February 1, 2015 Ronald Lee Batchelor, 62, of Stantonsburg passed Sunday. His graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Marvin Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Ronald is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Parker Batchelor of the home; his daughters, Misty Leigh Riggsbee and husband, Lynn of Warrenton and Chastity Lane “Charlie” Edwards and husband, JT of Norlina; his son, Michael Shane Batchelor and wife, April of Wilson; his ganbabies, Cheyenne Batchelor and Morrisa “Tadpole” Riggsbee both of Warrenton and Carol Ann Edwards of Norlina; his mother, Nettie Mae Joyner Batchelor; his sisters, Lessie Frey and husband, Jerry of Elm City, Janice Tedder and husband, Bobby of Lucama and Nancy Crumpler and husband, Edwin of Wilson; his brothers, Johnny Batchelor and wife, Lisa of Elm City, Bobby Batchelor and wife, Donna of Wilson, Leon Batchelor and wife, Faye of Wilson and Roger Batchelor and wife, Joy of Lucama; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Astor Batchelor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home, PO Box 425, Wilson, NC to help with the end of life expenses.
