Ronald Jasper Horton

Ronald Jasper Horton, 83, of Wilson passed away Friday, December 20, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024, in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey with his sister, Judy, officiating the service. 

Ronald graduated from Bailey High School and then attended UNC Chapel Hill to become a teacher of English and French. 

Ronald is survived by his sisters, Judy Horton Williamson Stanley, and Katy Horton Blanton.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearlie and Velia Horton; sisters,Arah Horton Currin Beckham and Amy Horton Toney, and his brothers, Elton “Buddie” Ray Horton, Jerry Thompson Horton, Curtis Joel Horton, and Dock Franklin Horton.
