Ronald Kay Lamm

Ronald Kay Lamm October 9, 1942 – November 25, 2019 Ronald Kay Lamm, 77 of Sims passed away Monday. His funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Marsh Swamp Original Free Will Baptist Church, Sims. The Rev. Ray Wells and Pastor Joe Shakour will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Ronnie will be greatly missed by his family and friends and especially by his grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Romaine Mercer Lamm of the home; sons, Ronald Hugh Lamm and wife, Donna of Sims, and Dave Bryan Lamm and wife, Cindy of Sims; grandson, Tyler Hugh Lamm and wife, Elizabeth of Sims; granddaughters, Rebecca Rose Lee and husband, Zeth of Sims, Hayley Brooke Lamm of Sims and Reagan Elizabeth Lamm of Sims; sister, Audrey Perry of Elm City and his brothers, William Selby “Billy” Lamm and wife, Dorothy of Sims and James Lamm and wife, Carol of Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford Shelby and Virginia Stott Lamm and his sister, Emily Waddell.
