Ronald "Red" Lee Williams

Ronald Lee Williams September 19, 1940 – May 8, 2019 Ronald “Red” Lee Williams, 78, of Sims passed away Wednesday.  Graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey.  Pastor Pam Denton will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. “Red” retired from Hanson Quarry after forty-nine years of service. Ronald is survived by his sister, Linda Manning and husband, Ricky of Bailey; niece, Cindy Lamm and husband, Dave of Sims; nephew, Glenn Bailey of Sims; step-sons, Kenneth Bissette and wife, Betty of Sims and Woodie Bissette and wife, Joan of Bailey; great-nieces, Hayley Lamm and Reagan Lamm both of Sims and great-nephew, Hunter Bailey of Sims; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and special friend, Hattie Rhodes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Lettie Williams Batts; wife, Beulah B. Williams and daughter, Kimberly Dawn Williams.
