It is with the saddest hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Louis Vetere, 68, of Rocky Mount, who passed away Monday, December 1^st, after a lengthy illness.   The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Friday, December 5^th, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Ron will be placed in the columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery in the spring.   Ron served in the United States Army and was proud of his military service. He was a Life Member of The Legendary Blackhorse Regiment 11^th ACVVC.  He had many talents and after living in VA, WV, and the Outer Banks of NC, settled in Rocky Mount, where he poured his heart into making Rocky Mount a place to call home.  Ron was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.   Ron is survived by his angel and the love of his life, Hilarie H. Vetere; his daughter, Rhonda Vetere of CT; the loving members of Hilarie’s family; the Vetere’s; and many extended family and friends.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the 11^th ACVVC Scholarship Fund at the following address: The Blackhorse Association, Attn: Treasurer – Scholarship Fund, Daniel M.
