Rosa Lynn Worthington Pace

Rosa Lynn Worthington Pace, 56, of Sims, passed away peacefully on Tuesday. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Farmington Heights Church, Wilson.  Rev. Daylon Mooneyham, Rev. Lavon Phillips and Rev. Robert Worthington will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

A graveside service will be held in Greenleaf Memorial Park, 900 River Rd, New Bern, North Carolina on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 3:00 pm.

Born in Pitt County to George Samuel Worthington and Neva Ann Worthington, Rosa led a happy and loving childhood. She then went on to attend high school at West Craven High and later attended Craven Community College. After college, Rosa spent seventeen years as an office manager for Lowes, then went on to work at A Childs Place at Farmington Heights for many years. Rosa’s final career path she spent eleven years as a Payroll Operations Analyst for Truist Bank.

Rosa is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Bobby” Pace, Jr. of the home; daughter, Lauren Pace Tucker and husband Chad of Wilson; grandchildren, Austin Pace and Benjamin Tucker and parents, Sammy and Neva Worthington of Vanceboro as well as a host of loving aunts and uncles.

Flowers are welcome or memorial donations can be made in Rosa’s name to Farmington Heights Church, 910 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, North Carolina, 27896.
