Rose "Carol" Renfrow Corbett

Rose Carol Renfrow Corbett, 77, of Raleigh passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Wake Medical Center.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 1 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Nash Street North, Wilson.

Rose is survived by her son, Johnny Corbett and wife, Cindy; brothers, Marion Renfrow and Osbourne Renfrow (Michele); special niece/sister, Etta Barkley (Keith); special nephews, James “Boss” Barbee and Jerry Barbee (Judy); several other nieces and nephews; and many other friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Ira Savannah Renfrow and Ruth Boykin Renfrow; brothers, Albert Renfrow, Alton Renfrow, Hugh Renfrow, and Wayne Renfrow; sisters; Eleanor Gray “PeeWee” Jones and Maggie Barbee Grimm; and special niece, JoAnn Corbett.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers who helped Carol during her illness.
