Roxie Webb Harrell

Roxie Webb Harrell December 22, 1920 – November 4, 2015 Roxie Webb Harrell, 94, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Elm City Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial park. The Rev. Gene Wells and Steve Webb will officiate. The family will receive friends 1 – 2 p.m. at the church prior to the service and other times at the home of Dolores Gardner at 3402 Walker Dr., Wilson. Roxie was an expert seamstress, long standing member of Elm City Baptist Church and Town Creek Home Demonstration Club. Roxie is survived by her daughters, Dolores Y. Gardner of Wilson, and Debbie H. Williams and husband, Ray of Wilson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brothers, George Webb and wife, Evelyn of Wilson, Floyd Webb and wife, Ruth of Elm City, and Braxton Webb and wife, Kathryn of Alabama. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wiley T. Harrell, brothers Lloyd and Marvin Webb, sister Bertha Williams and her parents, Luther and Jodie Williams Webb.
