Ruby Rose Glover

Ruby Rose Glover, 91 of Bailey passed away Tuesday.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.  Friday, June 3, 2022 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery.  Rev. David Arroyo and Rev. Charles Robl will officiate. The family request casual dress attire.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1 – 2:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.

Ruby was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she served with a giving heart.  Ruby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories that will warm the heart. She was a compassionate caregiver and the most selfless person in the world.  Ruby was an excellent cook, hardworking and a friend to all that knew her.

Ruby is survived by her daughters, Connie Bobbitt and husband, David of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and Nancy Creech, and husband, Jim of Selma, Alabama; sons, Randy Glover and wife, Jo of Bailey, and Brent Glover of Bailey; granddaughters, Ashley Glover Brantley and husband, Daniel, Anna Glover, and Hannah Creech; grandsons, Matthew Glover, Andrew Glover and wife, Brandi, Jay Creech, and Allen Michael Creech; great-grandsons, Will Glover and Weston Brantley.

She was preceded in death by husband of fifty-two years, Randolph Glover; son, Michael Todd Glover; parents, Luther and Lillie Bass Rose, and her sister, Mary Rose.

Ruby retired after thirty years of service with Wilson County Health Department as a public health nurse.
