Russell Clar Anderson, Jr. August 25, 1959 – July 1, 2018 Russell Clare Anderson, Jr., 58, of Wilson passed away Sunday. His memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The Rev. Jack Keel will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday evening at the home from 7 – 9 p.m. Russell is survived by his wife, Kaye Anderson; daughter, Denise Ginn and husband, Tony of Hertford; son, Russell Anderson III of Lucama; granddaughters, Karla Ginn of South Bend, Nebraska, Ashley Ginn of Hertford, and Sophie Rodriquez of Elm City; grandson, Charlie Walston of Elm City; his sisters, Cathy Kaufman and husband, Richard of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Brenda Smoot of Lucama, and Sherry Stidd of Willow Springs; cousin, Thomas Stidd and wife, PJ of Thomason, Georgia, and several loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Bill Walston; grandson, Jacob Rodriquez; parents, Russell and Mary Parkhurst Anderson, brother, Roger Christopher Anderson Sr., and his nephew, Roger Christopher Anderson, Jr. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in Russell’s memory to Joyner’s Funeral Home, PO Box 425, Wilson, North Carolina 27894 to help with the end of life expenses.
