Ruth Ann Zeiger Rhodes December 12, 1937 – January 4, 2017 Ruth Ann Zeiger Rhodes, 79, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Penny Rhodes Windham and husband, Tony of Wilson; her granddaughter, Rachel Price and husband, Tim of Wendell; her great-grandchildren, Julie and Xander Price, and her brothers, Dennis Zeiger and Donald Zeiger both of Pennsylvania, and Gene Zeiger of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Rhodes. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials in Ruth’s honor to the Kidney Foundation, 4701 Hedgemore Drive, Suite 810, Charlotte, North Carolina 28209.
