Ruth Boykin Bissette

Ruth Boykin Bissette, 90, of Bailey passed away Saturday at Wilson Medical Center.   A graveside service will be conduct 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in Bailey Town Cemetery.   The Rev. Jerry W. Turner and the Rev. Darrell Davis will officiate.

The family will receive friends 6:30 -8:30 p.m. Monday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of Jerry and Nan Bissette, 6411 Vance Street, Bailey.

Ruth was a homemaker and the widow of Ralph M. Bissette.  

Ruth was survived by her sons, Jerry Bissette and wife, Nan of Bailey and Kenneth Bissette of Bailey; her grandchildren, Dennis Bissette and wife, Tammy, Chad Bissette and wife, Kristen and Jacqueline Strickland and husband, Vann; her great-grandchildren, Dillon, Austin and Avery Bissette, Blake and Macey Strickland all of Bailey; her sisters-in-law, Christine B. Bryant of Samaria and Lizzie Boykin of Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Neppie Renfrow Boykin; her brothers, Robert and Roy Boykin; her sisters, Doris Bunn and Jean Flora and her daughter-in-law, Susan Bissette.
