Ruth Corbitt Russell November 17, 1937 – November 18, 2019 Ruth Corbitt Russell, 82, of Wilson passed away Monday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Peace Church, Wilson. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Rusty Russell will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Peace Church, 2838 Tilghman Road N., Wilson and other times at the home of her son. Ruth is survived by her husband, Roger Russell of the home; daughter, Gwen Neal and husband, John of Nashville, Tennessee; son, Rusty Russell and wife, Kathy of Wilson; granddaughters, Jennifer Hartsell and husband, Keith, Abby Shickedanz and husband, Caleb, and Caroline Neal; grandson, Grant Neal and wife, Olivia; great-grandchildren, Riley Phillips, Grayson Hartsell, Tatum Shickedanz, Clive Neal, and Rooney Neal.
