Samuel Anthony Edwards Jr., 76 of Wilson passed away Monday. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 4 – 5 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Samuel is survived by his sons; Samuel Anthony Tomlin, Joseph Antonio Tomlin, Joshua Tomlin and David Tomlin of Wilson; sisters, Ida Stewart and Patricia Plunkett of Pennsylvania, Teresa Hicks of Baltimore, Shirley Tomlin of Wilson; brothers, David Speight of Wilson, Thurmon Edwards of Baltimore; granddaughter Janneccia Tomlin; grandson, Zymir Tomlin and close personal friend, Eddie Fulford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Laurene Edwards.
