Sandra Ellis Creech September 24, 1947 – June 28, 2015 Sandra Ellis Creech, 67, of Lucama gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, June 28, 2015. Her funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at Little Rock FWB Church, Little Rock Church Road, Lucama. Interment will follow in Moore Family Cemetery, St. Mary’s Church Road, Lucama. The Rev. DeWayne Eakes will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at her home. Sandy was a loving and devoted mother, MeMaw, sister and friend. She will be thought of with wonderful memories that will bring smiles and will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Sandy was a valued employee of the NC State Department of Revenue for over twenty years. To cherish her memory, Sandy leaves her daughter, Christina Creech Brown and her very special son-in-law, Ricky; her two precious granddaughters, Makala and Madyson Brown; her loving sister, Brenda Wester; her niece, Kim Lee and her nephew, Stephen Wester, and her loving basset hound, Blossom. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth “Dock” and Jewel Ellis; her brother, Wayne Ellis and her nephew, Chris Ellis.
