Sanford "Sandy" Warren Wilson, II

Sanford Wilson, II May 26, 1953 – February 28, 2016 Sanford “Sandy” Wilson, II, 62, of Middlesex passed away Sunday. His funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex. The Rev. Ken Wagnon will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Sandy is survived by his wife, Susan Hopkins Wilson of the home; his son, Ben Wilson of Middlesex; his daughters, Hilary Wilson of the home, and Kim Nielsen and husband, Curt of Hardenville, Missouri; his grandsons, Conner Nielsen and Carson Nielsen; granddaughters, Brittney Neilsen, and Laney Wilson; his mother, Pauline Wilson of Sims, and his brothers, Billy Wilson of Bailey, Mark Wilson and wife, Deborah of Sims, and Robert Wilson and wife, Carlene of Sims. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Wilson; his father, Joe Wilson, and brother, Wayne Wilson. Flowers are welcome or the family has requested donations in his memory to the Stony Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Youth Group, 9646 Stoney Hill Church Road, Middlesex, North Carolina 27557.
