Sharon Denise Worley Batts September 3, 1973 – June 27, 2018 Sharon Denise Worley Batts, 44, of Lucama passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The Rev. Steve Strickland will officiate. Sharon is survived by her husband, William David Batts of the home; daughter, Emily Nicole Batts of Lucama; her parents, Glen and Frances Worley of Lucama; brother, David Worley and wife, Amy of Black Creek; mother-in-law, Shelby Batts of Elm City, and her nephew, Austin Worley of Black Creek.
