Sheila Frances Turner Flowers March 12, 1945 – October 30, 2016 Sheila Frances Turner Flowers, 71, of Wilson passed away Sunday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. David Varnell and Rev. Tim McFatter will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Sheila is survived by her son, John Michael Flowers and wife, Loni of Elm City; granddaughters, Kaylee and Carly Flowers of Elm City; her sister, Vann Kirk and husband, Chester of Nashville; nieces, Carla Smith and husband, Marvin, Michelle Oliver and husband, James of Nashville, and Kim Bletsas and husband, Bob of Rocky Mount, and her nephew, Chris Turner and wife, Rhonda of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Selby Floyd Flowers; her parents, Walter and Cloria Richardson Turner, and her brother, Walter David Turner.
