Sheila Beth Owens

Sheila Beth Owens February 17, 1964 – August 9, 2015 Sheila Beth Owens, 51, of Wilson passed away Sunday. Her funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at The Church of God of Lucama, 7256 Hwy 301 South, Lucama. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. Pastor Clarence Moore will officiate. The family will receive friends 7 – 9 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Sheila was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was employed for thirty-two years with Wilson Community College and was a member of the Church of God of Lucama. Sheila is survived by her parents, James and Shirley Owens of the home; her brother, Ray Owens and wife, Becky of Elm City and her nephews, Daniel Owens and Caleb Owens both of Elm City.
