Sheila Kiefer Saunders

Sheila Ann Kiefer Saunders, 62, of Wilson passed away on Saturday, July 29.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 3 at 11:00 am at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Nash Street North, Wilson.  Pastor Rusty Russell will officiate.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, August 2 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home.

Sheila is survived by her son, Kyle Saunders and wife, Beth of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Trisha Hayes and fiancé, Manuel Arizpe of Wilson and Jennifer Saunders of Wilson; grandchildren, Caitlin Applegate, Haley Cockrell, Mallory Cockrell, Megan Hayes, Abigail Hayes, Nash Saunders, and Tucker James Saunders; great-grandchildren, David, Serenity, Mia, and Emma; and brothers, Eric Kiefer, Greg Kiefer, Mark Kiefer, and Leon Smith.

Sheila was preceded in death by her loving husband James Edward “Eddie” Saunders; mother, Erma Smith; father, Herbert Kiefer; and brothers, Shawn Kiefer, Bruce Kiefer, and Phillip Kiefer.
