With a career spanning over 30 years, Sherry dedicated her life to nursing and teaching, caring for countless patients and students with compassion and skill. Sherry was not only a devoted nurse but also a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around her. She told countless stories of her time in catholic school as a child, her time at Fike, and her time in college to become a nurse.

From the beaches in North Carolina to Hawaii, she lived a life full of adventure, and love, and she touched everyone she met.

A strong faith in the Lord guided her life, providing her with strength and comfort through both joys and challenges. Sherry cherished family gatherings and instilled a sense of love and togetherness in her family.

Ferrell; half-sister, Kimberly Ferrell Carter and husband, Allen of Greenville; half-brother, Stephen Rastie Ferrell of Wilson; nephews, Shawn Paul Glasgow, Matthew Thomas Glasgow, and families of California; aunt, Wilma Ferrell of Alabama; many cousins, and her best friend, Gay Little of Wilson.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Mary P. Ferrell; father, Rastie Walter Ferrell; brother, Thomas H. Glasgow; son, David T. Etheridge; and her beloved dogs, Petunia and Gage.

Sherry will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
