Shirley Jones Boykin

Shirley Jones Boykin March 16, 1936 – May 13, 2019 Shirley Jones Boykin, 83, of Sims passed away Monday.  Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S Wilmington Street, Raleigh.  The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 – 1:45 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of almost sixty-five years, Ray Boykin of the home; daughter, Bonnie Boykin Helmink and husband, Gary Wayne of Knightdale; son, David Anthony Boykin and wife, Kim of Sims; grandsons, Zachary Paul Morrison and Jackson Ray Boykin and her sister, Ellen Lawrence of Raleigh.
